The National Hurricane Center predicts that Hurricane Irene will hit
115
mph by Thursday as it approaches the Central Bahamas.
Hurricane Irene is a category one storm with maximum winds of 80 mph,
but experts believe the hurricane will only get stronger as it moves
over open water.
