About an hour after dawn Tuesday morning, investigators with the state Prosecutor’s Office of Maryland searched the Southwest Baltimore home of Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon -- the city’s first female and second elected black mayor -- continuing an investigation of financial dealings that stretches back to her days as president of the Baltimore City Council.
